In extremely abrasive conditions with high concentrations of hard particles, EHIK offers more wear-resistant solutions that can extend pickup tube replacement intervals from 1–3 weeks for standard tubes to 2–3 months. We continuously improve wear protection and connection design.

How a Pitot Tube Pump
Builds Pressure

    The liquid flows into the rotating chamber.

    Rotation accelerates the liquid and builds pressure.

    A stationary pickup tube collects the fast-moving liquid, converts its velocity into additional pressure and directs it to the outlet.

EHIK replaced the multistage centrifugal pump at Kong 6 Well in the Zigong Operating Area of PetroChina’s Shunan Gas Mine. The motor rating was reduced from 95 kW to 45 kW—a 50 kW reduction. Site meter readings showed 39.5% lower electricity use for the same volume of gas-field water pumped, with stable operation and fewer repairs.

Illustrative annual electricity savings: approximately 343,700 kWh.
